To say that God directed Hitler to kill Jews, or devises that a toddler drowns in the swimming pool, or selects a dump truck to run over a laughing-playing child, or has designed at this point in history to have gun toters enter schools and mass murder children, or engineers human trafficking, along with a thousand other evils, all are absurd preposterous attacks on the holy character of God. (If God controls all things we cannot lift our voice against anything — absolutely nothing!) Know this, evil cannot spring out of the heart of a God whom Jesus has revealed as “God is Love”. God does not play both sides of the chess board, making all human choices an illusion. No matter what happens on your chess board with whatever evil is seeking to destroy you, GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY MEANS THAT HE IS NEVER LEFT WITHOUT A MOVE TO MAKE ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD IN YOUR LIFE!! WHO ELSE CAN DO THAT? GOD ALONE!
Our Father, thank You for taking the things in our lives that we thought would be our very undoing to be our making. To You, Oh God, belong glory and majesty forever. Amen.
