We are often given to making our walk with God complicated. We want to boast about doing great things for God when the simple things we do will be the best. He wants my whole heart to love Him and His other children. When I encounter a human need I am to love being merciful; I want to be as merciful to others as Jesus has been to me. I want to live in a humble repentance; I want to always act justly. I want to love and respect all people — acting toward them in the way Jesus is acting toward me. It is simple; don’t complicate it.
“He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God” Micah 6:8 (NIV).
