Adam’s sin made him hide from God, but God’s reaction is to go searching for Adam; He did not go the other way. God does not flee from sinners; He runs toward them. He refuses separation, preferring rather reunion and restoration of the relationship. Jesus demonstrated this kind of Father when He went to parties with and for sinners. He intentionally spent time with sinners. How are we doing on this aspect of being Christlike?
