The God of the Bible is a God who comes looking for Adam in the Garden. He is a God who longs to be with those He has made in His likeness. He is the seeker of lost sheep. He sends priests and prophets to call His people back. He sent His only Son, the eternal Word, who was with God and was God. God seeks after us. He comes searching for us. He did it in Eden and has been doing it ever since. All of this is driven by His great love.
Father, thank You for Your relentless love. Thank You for never giving up on us. Thank You for Your seeking Son and searching Spirit.
