“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” James called this the royal law (James 2:8).  It is the royal teaching of King Jesus.  It looks a lot like doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.  It flows out of the Great Commandment.  It is the high road; it is the road less traveled.  This royal law is to be written on our hearts (Jeremiah 31:33), which means that it is to become a part of our very nature.  We come to do it naturally by the inner training of the Spirit.  The Spirit brings this royal law into our hearts (Romans 5:5).  To practice the royal law of love is to show that we are a  Child of the King.
