Mother Teresa believed that joy came out of full surrender to the will and purpose of God for her life. She said, “When I see someone sad I say, ‘She is refusing to give something to Jesus.’” There is no joy in doing things our way. We hold on to things that hinder our relationship with our Lord and it robs us of the joy we could otherwise have. Restore to the Lord what belongs to Him and see what happens to your joy.
