“We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us…but we have the mind of Christ” (I Cor 2:12, 16, NIV). The Holy Spirit is the Mind of Christ. It is by Him that we tap into the Wisdom that is from God, the mystery now revealed to those who, in love, have embraced God’s Messiah. These are the ones to whom God has given His Spirit. To live in communion with the Spirit is to be connected to the Mind of Christ, which transcends the wisdom of this age.
“The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.” (I Cor 2:10)
