Follow the Lamb and His lamb ways; He opened not His mouth in protest to His suffering. He showed the wolves how a true lamb dies. Those who want to fight us do not know what to do with non-retaliatory suffering-love. Loving your enemies may confuse them, but it may transform them. It surely transforms us. It frees us from toxic un-forgiveness, poison resentment and fatal bitterness. It bathes our soul with the medicine of healing love. Give this medicine to yourself every hour, if need be; do not worry about taking too much either.
Father, heal our souls with Your kind of love when we put it into practice as our kind of love. Amen.
