“The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!” Deuteronomy 6:4 (NASB). He is fully one and not fractured. He is not at war with Himself. He is Holy-Love. Even as Trinity, God is One. Three persons, yet one undivided God. The unity in God Himself is the unity that is to be in us. We are to be cleansed of our divided heart and not at war with ourselves. Ironically we find that oneness in our oneness with Him. Without Him we are against ourselves.
