Our hope is never in any fallible earthly leader. When Uzziah died it was time for Isaiah to see “the Lord sitting on his throne, high and lifted up.” Our hope is in the Kingdom of God which has come, is here and will come. Messiah arose and ascended to the right hand of the Father. He is working to make God the rightful King of the whole earth. He sits in judgment of the nations who live contrary to the principles of the Kingdom. No matter who sits on the thrones of earth, King Jesus reigns.
