Abraham was a man of faith. Those who follow in the train of his faith are an innumerable multitude, like the stars of the heavens. Abraham’s faith made a difference to all those who followed him. It is true for us. Faith produces spiritual descendants. We are the product of the faith of those who went before us and an influence of faith for those who follow us. We are not in this by ourselves. This is bigger than our little point in time. It matters for those who follow us how we practice faith and faithfulness. We can not even imagine how far reaching the influence of faith is.
