It takes time with Jesus to know not only what He says but who He is. He is Messiah! He is Lord of all! He is Truth! He is Wisdom! We must also know what He came to do, if we would understand what He is saying. He came to set up the Government of God on earth as in Heaven. He called it Kingdom. He said it was Gospel, good news! He sent the Holy Spirit to recall what Jesus taught about it, to reaffirm it, and to enable us to bear witness to the good news of the Kingdom of God with power.
“These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.” John 14:25-26 (NASB)
