The highest form of worship continuously goes on in heaven, where “the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne” (Revelation 4:9). At the lowest end of the gratitude continuum is the reprobate mind where “even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks” (Romans 1:21). Paul teaches that it is reprobation not to glorify, honor and thank God. Gratitude is to join heaven’s worship to glorify, honor and thank Him.
