Life is a precious gift. We do not choose it. It came to us out of the bonding of our parents. More than that, it comes to us as a gift from God. The fact that we exist at all is a gift laden with wealth. To see it is to prompt worship. Life is indeed precious, not to be wasted but invested, not to be despised but treasured. No matter what our circumstance are, we have great gifts. All life ultimately comes from our Father. Falling into His loving embrace gives us a purpose and a mission for life.
“Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Who is the man who desires life And loves length of days that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil And your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.” Psalm 34:11-14 (NASB)
