When you are dealing with the stress and pain of life, identify with the pain of Christ; it has a way of sanctifying your own. He suffered with and for us. We suffer with and for Him. The New Testament teaches that we enter into solidarity by baptism with the One who, by incarnation, entered into solidarity with us. Let Him live with you through what hurts. You will find mystic union and healing while walking hand in hand with the Suffering Servant. Fellowship!
“And if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.” Romans 8:17 (NASB)
