Christ is bigger than we imagine in our small ways of thinking. He is with God and He is God. He is the Energy of God that created everything that is. He is the Love of God flowing to us from the Cross. He is the One who poured out His own Spirit at Pentecost. He comes as prevenient grace to every human heart. He works in hearts where His name is not known. He is at work everywhere in the world to redeem, renew and recover all things. Boundaries, walls, rivers, oceans, mountains, religions, and human institutions can’t keep Him out. He will not stop until His creation is renewed. He will not stop until you and I are renewed in the likeness of our Creator.
“His authority shall grow continually, and there shall be endless peace for the throne of David and his kingdom. He will establish and uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time onward and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.” Isaiah 9:7 (NRSV)
