Have you been carrying your heart in a sling? There is a word for you. “He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds” Psalm 147:3 (NRSV). You must not resort to self-pity, and you certainly must not play the victim. Take your broken heart in your hand and hand it over to the Healer as an act of trust and worship. May it be your act of leaving it with your Lord. Your Great Physician “heals broken hearts” and “binds up the wounds” of all who will bring it to Him.
