It is possible for children to be abused by luxury, never knowing the toil and struggles of labor. We are not on a life-long vacation, but a journey across the wilderness. The caterpillar that does not struggle to get out of the cocoon will never soar as a butterfly. To protect from struggle is a mistake. Unearned wealth is usually always squandered. Life without suffering seldom develops sympathy and empathy. Our Heavenly Father does not make His children immune to pain, suffering and difficulties. His future is prepared for the prepared.
