Our thanksgiving must include the material but must extend beyond it to the intangible gifts that always flow into our lives.  “The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment” Luke 12:23 (KJV).  We can’t hold the love of God in a test tube and analyze its components, but we can rest in it.  We can’t see the Spirit, but oh, how real He is.  Father, thank You for the many very real, but intangible, gifts You send into our lives.

“He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords,  who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.” 1 Tim 6:15b-16 (NASB)
