To say, “Thank You” is just words that may come from the heart, or they may just be a polite response. We are creatures of habit, some good and some not so good. One way to develop the habit of true gratitude is to stop, see, and reflect. Learn to have eyes that see more than the eye can see; learn to observe what you never saw before. Think about something you never thought of before. Take all of this to heart, and then your gratitude will spring from a genuine place.
Lord Jesus, Your blessing are all around me, I stand on them, I am surrounded by them. They feed and nourish me; they sustain and protect me. Your goodness is so great. Your blessings come to me from Your heart; may my gratitude to You for these blessings also come from my heart. Amen!
