If you could capture the fragrance of a flower and put it in a jar, it would be called honey. We are not able to do that, but the Creator is. He uses His servants the bees to accomplish this amazing feat. The promised land was a land “flowing with milk and honey”. If honey flows in abundance, then flowers must bloom in abundance. Liquid fragrance you can taste is why we like honey. “O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!” (Psalm 34:10 NASB). Jesus is our Honey in the Rock. His aroma is pleasing and His fragrance is taste-able. He satisfies the soul.
“But I would feed you with the finest of the wheat, And with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.” Psalm 81:16 (NASB)
