In our earthly transitions we sometimes come to new places with apprehension, not knowing what awaits us. One of the things about walking with the Lord is this: The Holy One with us sanctifies our place making it a good place. His actions in us and on our behalf makes each place a growing place. You may think you are at “nowhere” and find it to be the “gate to heaven.” The unlikely place for heaven to descend upon you.
Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.” He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.” Genesis 28:16-17 (NASB)
