The filling of the Spirit is not an end in itself. He fills us to flow through our lives. The Spirit is not given for mere personal enjoyment nor religious excitement, but He is Messiah’s gift to the world through us. The Spirit reveals Messiah. The Spirit draws to God. The love with which He fills us is meant to enable us to love the world. Oh Lord, fill our hearts so that You may flow through our lives. May the grace of Your Spirit be grace to those we touch.
