Most of us think we need to do something great for our great God. Certainly He deserves more than we can ever give Him. Sometimes pride may be the driving motive for that. The longer I live, the more I realize that the greatest things we can do for God’s kingdom work turn out to have begun as something very small. A kind word, a shared meal, discipling, a little mentoring, scattering seeds of love, etc., can prove to have an incredible impact. Don’t downplay the little things.
