The way we see the glory of God is in the face of Jesus. There were glimpses by Moses, Isaiah, Abraham, Elijah and more. All of these encounters pale in comparison to the appearance of Messiah Jesus in human history. Prophets, priests and kings have longed to look at what has now been made known. Jesus is the image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15-17). He is the Glory of God (John 1:14). He came to make God known; He came to show us the very nature of God. “Show me your glory”, you pray. Sit at His feet. Absorb His message. Commune with Him. Let Jesus’ Spirit continuously touch the eyes of your spirit and you will see the glory of God.
