“Weep with those who weep” (Romans 12:15b). I shared my bad news with a friend. Before he said a word, spontaneous tears began to flow down his cheeks. I knew he cared. I could tell he was hurting with me. It did not take my tears away, but I had a fellow weeper who was being the weeping Jesus at my low place. It had a healing effect on me. It was oil for my wounds. All tears do not flow out of our eyes. There are tears of the heart. So, go forth as my friend did, and “Weep with those who weep.”
