Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26 (ESV)
We do die, but we shall never die; what an amazing thought! To be absent from the body is to be present with our Lord Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:8). Where He is is where we will be (John 14:3). When He comes down to this earth He is not going to leave us to wait but is going to bring us with Him (1 Thessalonians 3:13). Jesus said, “I am with you always” (Matthew 28:20). By His death He trampled down death. By His resurrection death died for us. We are now alive forevermore! Praise be to God!
