“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” Matthew 6:33 (NASB). God’s Righteousness is associated with justice. It is about right relationships. It is acts of mercy. It is unconditional love. It is lovingkindness. It is care for the needy. According to Matthew 25, it is about giving something to eat and drink, visiting the sick and imprisoned, clothing the naked and welcoming the stranger. God is a God of righteous action, and He requires righteous action from us. Seeking to act out His righteousness everyday is seeking first His Kingdom.
