“God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, (Ephesians 2:6 NIV). The God who raised Jesus from the dead raised us up, and the God who seated Jesus at His right hand has seated us there with Him. Do we get it? Can we let it change us? Seated in the heavenly places is the place where the King sits; we have a place in the Government of God. It is about the Kingdom of God and not that of earthly rulers. This is about co-reigning and seeking through both our actions and intercessory prayers to advance God’s rule.
Father, may we advance Your rule in the earthly places in the same way that You rule in the heavenly places. Amen.
