Split-second decisions are both choices and an expression of who we are; I don’t like to say or believe that, but I think that I have found it is true. We want to say, “that was not me”, but maybe it was. Maybe it was the part of you that you have not met; the part that has been hiding itself.  Spiritual advancement is aided by self-discovery; moving to higher levels calls for self-awareness. We do not know ourselves as we ought to know ourselves; God knows us better than we know ourselves and has come to take up residence in our heart by His searching Spirit.  What the Spirit searches out, we are to yield up to the process of sanctification.

“Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults.” Psalm 19:12 (NKJV)
