“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Messiah the Lord.” (Luke 2:11). Savior means one who rescues or delivers. This One who rescues is the long promised Messiah, the hope of all nations. He has come to rescue us from our captivity to sin and to set us free. He has come to rescue by His good governance. His intention is to establish His kind of government in the face of the corrupt governments of the nations. His Kingdom is the only hope of this world.
