How does Satan blind eyes? Here are a few of his tools: Darkness. Culture. Misguided tradition. Misinterpreted Scripture (Mt 4:6). False teaching. Bad theology. Sinful desire. What is his goal in blinding eyes? It is to avoid a clear vision and right understanding of the Messiah! He does not want us to see the glory of Jesus as the new Temple (Jn 1:14, 2:21), the priestly mediating Way to the worship of the Father.
