We make a lot of the day when Christ will rule the nations; it will be a great day. We must not, however, forget that His rule has already begun, and further, we must not forget that Christ ruling the nations is far more than knees bowing before His throne. Jesus rules the nations when His ways are followed by the nations. His Kingdom comes every time His will is done on earth as in heaven; it comes every time we follow His manner of living in the difficult places of our lives. That’s what ruling and bending the knee looks like.
“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” Revelation 11:15 (KJV)
