The resurrection of Jesus from the dead was more than the triumph of life over death. It was also the triumph of love over hate. If we have been risen with Him, we have been raised to a life of Jesus’ kind of love. Love reigning in our hearts expels hostility and hate. Because Christ is risen in us, non-love things can no longer have the throne. Our words and actions testify to what reigns in us. It is our witness. We have been risen to love.
