“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” (Psalm 111:10a) Respect for God is the first step to learning. It is the path of knowledge. Obedience to Him is a way of knowing. Children who have not learned to obey and respect their teachers will never be great learners. Some folks tend to know too much to be a true disciple. They cannot sit at the feet of the Teacher. To worship God in holy awe is the way we will gain the wisdom we need for life.
