Why did God keep bringing Abraham back to his call by repeating the promises (Genesis 12-18) of giving him a land and making him a blessing to all the earth? Why do you and I need to keep hearing the promises of God? We forget. We lose track of where we are. We get preoccupied with little things and away from the big picture. Keep listening. Keep obeying. Repeated promises to Abraham became renewals of his faith. Stay focused on who you are and the One to Whom you belong. Abraham went out not knowing where He was going, but he had one with him who knew. So do you.
