The refilling of the Spirit is for one reason. It is not so you can chalk up another spiritual experience or a new emotional high. Never! The Father is not the least bit interested in giving you the Spirit for narcissistic reasons. He wants to give the Spirit so that you may again witness with boldness, so that you as a temple, a dwelling place of the Spirit (I Corinthians 3:16) can return to the world in the power of the Spirit to touch other humans with the life of God which dwells in you.
“And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.” Acts 4:31 (NASB)
