“Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering” Matthew 5:23-24 (NASB). Because Jesus cares about human relationships, He commands us to initiate working out the conflicts we have with each other. (This will take the drama out of making your case to others about “what happened”). He is further teaching us that worship given to the Father is related to our relationships with our sisters and brothers.
