The purpose of our freedom is not to do as we please; it is to finally be able to let God do with us as He pleases.  Doing everything you want to do will either keep you in bondage or return you to it.  “It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery” Galatians 5:1 (NASB).  There is nothing more freeing that doing the will of God.  We have to be set free to get there and staying there keeps us free.
