Right choices shape character. This starts with choosing from deep within ourselves the right motives and intentions that will set the direction of our soul. This is essential if we are to be a genuinely good person at our core! This is the foundation of being right in our actions to our fellow humans. Growth in grace begins when we allow the Lord to reveal the thoughts of our heart in real self-awareness and entreat Him to purify our heart springs.
“Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom. Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness, Let the bones which You have broken rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins And blot out all my iniquities.
