Promptings of The Spirit (3), In Prayer: Stories abound about a person in one part of the world being prompted to pray for a person in another part of the world and God rescuing in time of crisis. Somehow, in some inexplicable way, these promptings are important in God’s work in the world. Power and protection is released through prayer. Working with God in these things is a “wrestling” that is not with flesh and blood. All believers are in solidarity with each other, and the Spirit prompts us for the furtherance of God’s plan in the world.
