Promptings of The Spirit To Ourselves: The Holy Spirit is connected to us at the deepest level of who we are. He knows us better than we know ourselves. He is with us to prompt us to follow Jesus in all the ways we are not yet following Him. Attentiveness, to follow Him always by willing obedience, is required in this relationship. His promptings correct us. He calls us out of ourselves into Himself. He calls us away from sinful gratifications to meeting the needs of family and peers.
