Prayer cannot be an escape from our mission of incarnation; it is what empowers us for it. Prayer is a departure from the world so that we can reenter it with poise and power. It is the place of the renewal of mission. To get along with Jesus is to feel His heart and see His desires for us and the world. Without this we can not fulfill our mission.
Father, enable us to go deeper in You so we can be renewed for the work to which You have called us. Amen
