We are called to pray with Spirit as the Spirit prays through us.  Pray until you hear the Spirit praying through you.  This is hearing from Heaven.  Pray until your asking is changed to what He wants; “we do not know how to pray as we ought”.  “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” (John 15:7 ESV).  The Spirit in us is the abiding Word.  He reinforces the words of Christ.  When these words shape our desires and wishes, our praying goes to a whole new level.  This is praying with the Spirit.

“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words. And God, who searches the heart, knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God” Romans 8:26-27 (NRSV).
