Pray for your enemies. Pray for political leaders. Pray for that testy neighbor. Pray for your pastor and church leaders. Christians are admonished to do all of these things. Prayers offered without love are useless. God is not interested in prayers that are arrows of anger and hate. The universe is driven by the love of God. Prayers not driven by love for all people are in vain. Pray for yourself for a new baptism of love, and then pray for all people.
“Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissension.” 1 Timothy 2:8 (NASB)
