“Praise the LORD! How good it is to sing praises to our God; for he is gracious, and a song of praise is fitting” Ps 147:1 (NRSV). It is fitting for the creature to praise the Creator. It is appropriate for the saved to praise the Savior. It is right for servants to praise their benevolent King. It is not fitting for humans to fail to praise God. We have a great need to worship. It saves us from being ungrateful and self-focused. Lift up your song! Express your praise! May we earthlings join with the heavenly host to offer fitting praise to the Worthy One.
