We keep looking for methods to take us further in the mission of Christ and have neglected a passion for Him, out of which mission comes. Nothing will replace the fire of God burning on the altar of our hearts. Nothing can substitute for a God-given vision. Nothing will equip us to do His work like the energizing grace of the Spirit. Those who wait for Him shall be empowered by Him. Those who go in the Spirit accomplish God’s purpose.
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Acts 1:8 (NASB)
