We have often tried to capture some beautiful scene with our camera, only to realize that there is no way that the picture can capture or even do justice to what we have seen.  Our word pictures and our best vocabularies fall short when we try to express the God revealed in Christ.  We get glimpses, but never the full picture.  We get insights but never grasp the whole.  He is beauty inexpressible.  He is joy unspeakable.  He is mystery incomprehensible.  He is greater than the greatest thought we have ever had of Him.  He shatters our categories with His glory.  Sometimes we need to just let our limited words fall to silence and bask in His majesty.

“And though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory.” 1 Peter 1:8 (NASB)
