Spirituality is not passive with God merely acting on our souls and no intentional response on our part. We have things to do regarding our spiritual growth. Respond! Act! Pursue! Pray! Focus! Prioritize! Certainly the grace of God is assumed in all of this, but we are responsible to respond, to cooperate, to surrender, and to work out what God is doing within. Be proactive about your relationship with God.
