We have not been called to be commentators, merely theologizing on the Kingdom of God. We have been called to participate in God’s rule in the world. We have been called to demonstrate love, compassion, mercy, and justice in all the places we touch. We have been called to discern abuse, injustice, inhospitality, oppression, manipulation and all other things that are counter to the government of God and to act on that discernment in Spirit-guided ways. The vision of God being the ultimate King is the thing that guides this.
Oh, King Jesus, Lord of Heaven and earth, empower us by Your Spirit to take Your kingdom into all places, including those places that it is not wanted or welcomed. Amen!
